GODFREYS LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE
If you find an identical product offered for sale elsewhere and we can’t beat our
competitors written price, we’ll give you the item for FREE.
How does it work?
- Bring us a competitors written quote or advertisement prior to purchase. The offer must be:
- for an identical product with make and model
- dated within the last fourteen (14) days
- available to the general public
- Confirmation that the quote/offer is genuine and available
- We may elect to contact the competitor immediately to confirm the offer is correct and available
- Opportunity for us to beat the price
- We will attempt to beat the competitors price by a minimum of 10% of the difference between our price and the confirmed offer
- If we don’t beat the competitors price, your purchase is FREE
- Claim the Lowest Price Guarantee and you take the product at no cost
Terms and conditions.
- Godfreys Lowest Price Guarantee must be read subject to these terms and conditions.
- Physical proof of the identical product (make and model number) and its price must be delivered and shown to the Godfreys store. This must be in the form of a written quote from another retailer or a copy of another retailers advertisement, and must include all applicable fees and taxes.
- The identical product must be quoted or advertised by a competitor retailer at a price lower than the price displayed in the Godfreys store.
- Godfreys must be reasonably satisfied with the evidence that the identical product was advertised or offered for sale at a lower price within a period of fourteen (14) days prior to the claim, and may make contact with the competing retailer to confirm this.
- Godfreys must be given the opportunity to beat the competitors price by a minimum of 10% of the difference between the lower competitors price and the displayed Godfreys price.
- Godfreys offer of a price equal or lower than the difference of the lower competitors price and the price available at Godfreys, plus an additional 10% of the difference of that price fully discharges Godfreys’ obligations under the Lowest Price Guarantee.
- If all of the terms and conditions of the Lowest Price Guarantee are satisfied and Godfreys does not provide a lower price as detailed in the terms and conditions, Godfreys will provide the identical product in the competitors quote or advertisement free of charge to you.
- This Lowest Price Guarantee may be terminated or amended at any time without notice.
- The Lowest Price Guarantee is subject to you complying with Godfreys usual terms and conditions of trade.
- The Lowest Price Guarantee does not apply where:
- the lower price being offered under any promotion with a third party and is not available to the general public, or
- the lower price is not available from a retailer within New Zealand, or
- the lower price represents a reduction by the competitor through the use of redemption coupons, vouchers, loyalty rewards, frequent flyer miles or other similar offers or incentives, or
- the lower price represents a discount by the competitor on the basis that the product is floor stock, end of line, ex demo, second hand, reconditioned, factory seconds or similar; or
- the difference in cost between the price at Godfreys and the lower competitors price is the result of an error by the competitor
