Returns Policy
All goods purchased from Godfreys online may be exchanged for a product only store credit or a refund with proof of purchase (freight component is not refundable). This is provided that the goods are returned within 10 days of purchase, have not been used and are in their original packaging.
Exchanges will be accepted via courier or post, at the expense of the customer.
Please choose carefully as a refund may not be provided if you simply change your mind. Repairs, refunds or exchanges will not be accepted or provided unless the goods are faulty, unfit for purpose (where we have provided you our specialist advice about your need prior to purchase) or does not match the description provided.

No credit card number is stored in the system. Your credit card details will be passed to the payment gateway as soon as they have been collected.

Third Party Dealers
Please note: NOT all Vendors selling Godfreys products are authorized re-sellers of Godfreys products. If you are unsure if a re-seller is authorized, please contact Godfreys first to check.
Issues relating to Goods purchased from a third party must in the first instance be directed to that third party. Godfreys will honour any proper claims for repair, credit or refund for goods purchased by you through any third party, however in such a case the third party vendor must make the claim on your behalf.
Please note that Godfreys will listen to complaints about a third party Vendor for information purposes only.
Shipping
Delivery of goods will usually take between five and ten working days. This time frame may vary according to the area the goods are being delivered to. Please provide accurate address details when placing an order, we do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. We are unable to call customers prior delivery.
Where you select for items to be delivered those items purchased from Godfreys are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
Warranty
- Godfreys aim for 100% customer satisfaction for any of our products or services. Any under-guarantee claim can be organised through the website (return to base freight is payable by the customer) or through any retail outlet with proof of purchase. Godfreys will organize the repair on the customer's behalf from the relevant manufacturer.
- Any product damaged in transit or not working on arrival must be reported to us within 10 days of receipt. A replacement will be shipped immediately after receiving the faulty item. All return shipping is payable by the customer.
- Misuse or use for wrongful purpose for example to pick up liquids, plaster dust, powder or for commercial or industrial use when the item is not designed for that purpose, will immediately render the warranty null and void.
- All bags, belts and filters are not covered by warranty as they are consumables. They must be replaced by customer, at customers expense as per the machines requirements. If they are replaced by unauthorized parts, the warranty will be null and void.
- Blockages of hose, filters, rods, and heads are not covered under manufacturer's warranty. If damage occurs to the machine due to any such blockages it is not covered under the manufacturers warranty.
- Godfreys is not liable for any loss or damage due to malfunction of the product.
- Godfreys reserves the right to charge for any repairs, service, and blockages if it is found that the repair is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
- Misuse of the machine, floor tools, hoses, rods, body, or anything to do with product, dropping or any damage caused by person or persons is not covered by the warranty.
- Warranty repairs or exchange of products will only occur by evaluation of a qualified Godfreys technician or an authorized technician from manufacturer or associated company.
- Warranty claims will be processed as quickly as possible and Godfreys will attempt to dispatch the goods back to the customer within 7 days of receipt, providing required parts are available. All courier costs will be incurred by the customer.
- Godfreys reserves the right to carry out repairs and/or to replace parts to any machines under warranty claims.

Godfreys disclaims all warranties express or implied, including but not limited to warranties for fitness or purpose. Godfreys does not warrant that this site or any other associated components, including emails sent, are free of viruses, spy ware or other harmful elements. Godfreys will not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this site, whether they be direct, indirect, punitive or consequential. In the event this disclaimer is ineffective, the maximum compensation due to you is refund of the services or products ordered.
